Since our launch new curriculum reform, the high school history textbook develop froma version of the country, a materials to a "curriculum standards" under the guidance of themultiple versions of a variety of materials situation. Faced with this new situation, bothresearchers and education practitioners have studied and compared the necessary teachingmaterials for a variety of different versions to realize the different versions of the textbookreading curriculum standards so that they can not only guide teaching practice to promote theprofessional development of teachers but also promote the depth development of thesecondary school curriculum reform. At last they promote the compilation of teachingmaterials and continue toward perfection.This article consists of four parts: The first part is the preface, introduce the reason oftextbooks comparison of the raised issue. domestic issues related to the research and the valueand significance of the research.The second part is the comparative study of Shandong Province, widespread use of PEPand the Yuelu textbooks. First let’s look at the structure from the directory part, mainly by thearrangement of the contents of the cell, the representation of the unit with the subject heading,appendix part of the choreography, and from two textbooks, the overall structure, design ideasand teaching materials style. Secondly we can study the featured content section andcompare two versions of textbooks unit,text blurbs, the selection and presentation of thecontent of the text, the text auxiliary parts as well as explore the activity classes lessons.Bydoing this we can tell the specific differences of the two versions of the materials on thechoreography.The third part of the analysis of the characteristics and causes of the two versions oftextbooks. Although the two versions of textbooks are written based on curriculum standardsand reflect the spirit of the new curriculum, compared PEP contacting more old traditions,Yuelu version has more the spirit of innovation. The reason showing different characteristicsdue to a close relationship with the two different composition of the editorial board of thePress and philosophy.The fourth part of the combined practice talks about how to use different versions of theteaching materials. teachers must not only seriously study the curriculum standards,curriculum standards in the provisions of the compilation of teaching materials, carefullyexplore the different versions of textbooks, in-depth understanding of each version of the textbook on "courses standard "different interpretation but also to make the appropriate choicea correct view of the location of the materials in the classroom teaching, textbooks, trade-offsand additions in order to follow the needs of the teaching practice do to properly to adjust thestructure of the textbook.
