In today’s rapid development of scientific technology, learning how to study isboth a breakthough of education and reformation of training. After years of practicalresearch, metacognitive theory is an effective way and theory basis of promotingautonomous learning, which now serves the whole education period more and more. Inour country, the area of metacognition research mostly focus on the English language,Chinese language,mathematics, while seldom focus on the high school IT courses, evenless on the study of the entire teaching process, most have ignored the teachingactivities of cognitive development. Therefore, in the high school courses of IT training,making full use of metacognitive theory and developing the cognitive abilities ofteachers and students in high school courses of IT training are of very importanttheoretical and practical significance of the ability for teacher to teach and the studentsto learn.In this study, we use documentary research to analyze the cognitive theory bothChina and aboard,also the documentary of high school teachers and students,whichmake up of the framework and content of this paper. Starting from the process of highschool courses of IT training, which is also our focus, this paper discusses thetheoretical knowledge of the teachers ’and students’ metacognitive capacity development,from which we raise our training strategy is to rich cognitive knowledge,stimulatemetacognitive experiences and improve metacognitive monitoring capabilities. Everystrategy includes aspects of both teachers and students. Based on the above trainingstrategy and the reference model of high school courses of IT teaching design model,we raise our teaching design model: the interaction between teachers and students-thestudents’ autonomous learning mode. We also apply it to the high school courses of ITtraining though action-analyzing method, where we conclude that our teaching designmodel have the effectiveness of promoting metacognitive ability for both teachers andstudents, also it can promote the development of autonomous learning for teachers andstudents, which makes a guidence for the improvement of high school courses of ITtraining effectiveness.
