| Now the primary school mathematics knowledge is no longer only dealt on thetheoretical level. It more emphasizes on the connection with real life. With thecurriculum reform and development, new teaching and learning conceptcomes.Collaborative learning, as a new way of learning, is recognized by teachers inelementary school. But because of various reasons, collaborative learning doesn’t playits greatest advantages.In this paper, the questionnaire survey method, observation method and interviewmethod were used to investigate collaborative learning in math class of DalianDevelopment Zone Elementary Schools. Group learning, which is the main form ofcollaborative learning in elementary school math class, is the research focus of the paper.The research results show that collaborative learning is really beneficial for the students,but at the same time many problems appeared, too. For example, the old concepts ofteachers, no good preparation, no perfect evaluation methods and so on. This paper notonly gives a comprehensive analysis of the causes of the problems, but also putsforward improvement strategies.In view of these problems, this paper puts forward the following improvementstrategies. First, teachers should change their teaching concepts and roles and promotethe development of them. Second, teachers should study how to make full preparations.Third, teachers should study how to make the content set more reasonable. Fourth,teachers should do deep study of the effective methods to ensure collaborative learningorganization more orderly. In fifth, teachers should establish the effective evaluation. |
