Early childhood is the most rapidly growing period for a human life, giving children a happy, healthy and joyful childhood is the earnest desire of each parents and early childhood educators. Children’s healthy growth is the fundamental bases for future development, due to their low age and deficiencies of life experience; their self-protection abilities are extremely limited and have just seldom security guard consciousness, therefore, the childhood is a very special interval that many dangers and safety risks easily appear. Kindergarten workers’ primary mission is to protect children’s safety and promote children’s healthy development."Early Childhood Education Guidelines" clearly stated:"make sure to put the protecting of children’s lives and promoting children’s health in the first place". Therefore, the children safety education is especially important.This research based on related theories of safety management, using the methods of questionnaire, interview, observation to investigate and study teachers’ safety education status in Dalian’s kindergartens. This research set safety education into five dimensions of educational content, educational time, educational methods, educational assessment, and educators for investigation. Child safety education in this paper refers to various educational activities that child educators used to enhance children’s safety consciousness, foster kids’ emergency response capabilities facing disaster and sudden events, and improve their abilities of self-protection.The research is divided into six parts:the first part describes the research background from the perspective of real life, and analyzes the research significances in theoretical and practical aspects. The second part, mainly based on previous studies, consults and summarizes the whole research, defines related concepts, and introduces the theoretical and practical research foundations. The third part combs and summarizes domestic and international research status of kindergartens safety education research. The fourth part is to introduce the methodology of this study and its research purposes, and it refers five aspects of childhood safety education. Part V consists of the research results and analysis. The last part presents countermeasures on the problems and proposes corresponding solution strategies. The total results of this paper are as follows:educators attach importance to kindergarten safety education but lack systematic training, meanwhile, the safety education contents are not enough, the time of safety education is insufficient, safety education methods are simple and boring, kindergarten safety education practitioners need multi-lateral support, and the kindergarten safety education effects are not ideal, then this paper puts forward some Suggestions as follows:First, the government needs to clear the managing and supervisory functions of kindergartens’safety.Second, kindergarten managers should improve the level of safety management. Third, preschool teachers should improve their own qualities of safety education.
