When students are not interested in learning or lacking of motivation to learn but have to, they will feel tired, fatigue, frustration and setbacks. This results a series of inappropriate behaviors. Such a state is known as the learning burnout. Almost all of the previous researches on learning burnout focused on middle school students.For undergraduates, especially normal students of university/college, we can hardly find such researches. Research in this field is still in blank.Bying using the questionnaires and selecting579normal students as subject.We use 《College students’ learning burnout questionnaire》、《Professional commitment questionnaire》、《Achievement motive questionnaire》 for the investigation. Analysising the relation and prediction effection to learning burnout.Researching psychological intervention methods combined with case of a student.The main results are as following:1. Normal students of university/college have learning burnout on the whole, generally on the average.The most serious is low personal accomplishment.2. Variance analysis shows that there are significant difference among learning burnout scores and demographic variables(gender,grade,major, academic performance, hometown).3. Normal students’s speciality commitment is on the average overall.4. Normal students’s achievement motive is above the average slightly overall, and the level of chasing success’s motive is higher than avoiding failure’s.5. The scores of speciality commitment, achievement motive have significant correlation with learning burnout of normal students.6. Through regression analysis we find that sensation commitment,ideality commitment and chasing success’s motive, avoiding failure’s motive have prediction effect on learning burnout.7. An case with learning burnout showed, taking effective mental intervention measures actively and timely could prevent learning burnout among normal students of university/college.
