College Students' Research Organization Construction

With economic development; social specifications for talent tend to the type of ability. Personnel specifications trained by the traditional classroom university have been unable to meet the needs of rapid development. As students’ own autonomous organization, the student union actives a variety of activities such as "second class" and so on to work hard for students to create a "exercise their abilities to meet the needs of the society," the platform. Today, social employers during the introduction of talent often accord to anybody whether to participate in student union that is as an important indicator of employment.Due to abilities of student union’s members be recognized by social employers, student unions in universities also more and more are recognized by students and teachers. So universities are in efforts to strengthen student unions’building to bring up more talents for the socialist modernization. In view of it, this study selected the case of Y university student union for researching. In the course of this study, I used many kinds of methods, such as investigation and so on. Through interviewing to teachers, student leaders, ordinary students and analyzing the relevant theories of student union, the research confirmed that autonomy validity of the student union played a low level which now was the main problem of student union’s building and development and needed improved fast.Basis on measures of other student organization’s autonomy validity and student union’s reality of Y, the study confirmed that autonomy validity of the student union played a low level. It embodied five areas. Decision-making power of student union is not fully done. Basic functions of student union aren’t played enough. The external supervision is stronger than the internal supervision in student union. The level democracy in selecting and appointing the leaders is low. The way of source of funding for student union is single.Through in-depth interviews and surveys, I thought that autonomy validity of Y needed to be improved. The study looked for a deeper level of constraints by in-depth interviews and data analysis to building a better student union. Analysis of internal and external environment of student union, the study concluded four reasons. The protection of State laws and regulations specifically is lack. Youth League managements student union too much. Students are in lack of understanding student union.The study put forward a number of constructive suggestions and strategies in order to better promote the construction and development of student union. Relevant laws and regulations needed to be established and improved. The school environment should be more democratic. The relationship between Youth League and student union should be more harmonious. Student union should be more optimized. Rules and regulations within student union should be established. Student union’s culture should also be true.
