“Based on the development of students” is the guiding ideology in new basic ofeducation curriculum reform at the beginning at the new century, but the key to thesuccess of the new curriculum reform is the middle school teachers. Teacher’sprofessional development is a long-standing topic under the background of newcourse reform; the autonomous development can reflect a teacher developmentdriving force. If middle school history teachers want to complete the basic task of thehistory curriculum reform and implement the "development of students", they must beseeking a breakthrough for them, and then starting their own autonomous trip.Autonomous development of middle school history teachers is unified with ideas andpractice of history curriculum reform, because the ideas and practice of historycurriculum reform can promote middle school history teachers’ autonomousdevelopment, and middle school history teachers’ autonomous development canpromote the history curriculum reform implementation further, then eventuallydevelop the students rich of historical literacy. Therefore, this research is studyingfrom teacher scale which beginning is the historical new curriculum reforms, the otherend is the student development, and it is the middle school history teachers’autonomous development. It divides into the following three parts to discuss.In this research, the first chapter of the center is clearing the connotation ofmiddle school history teachers’ autonomous development, establishing the educatorrole perception of middle school history teachers, interpreting the reason of middleschool history teacher’s autonomous development, which is beneficial to strengthenthe middle school history teacher to understand autonomous development and clearautonomous development planning. Only from the concept to understand middleschool history teachers’ autonomous development is not clearly enough to convince us, so in the second chapter, the study find that history teachers have some characteristicswhich is the history teachers to understand from new curriculum, at the same time,they continuous effort in pursuit of their mind about history curriculum in the newcurriculum reform practice. The study thinks that these characteristics are whatcharacteristics of middle school history teachers’ autonomous development should beprovided by every history teachers in middle school. When every history teacher inmiddle school has deep feelings on education, passion for class and enthusiasm tostudy, history curriculum reform is more effective that it can play a role whichenlightenment student better. On the basis of the above research, the third chaptercomprehensive teachers, students and course to elaborate the significance of historyteachers’ autonomous development, which intends to cause attention on the majorityof middle school history teachers’ autonomous development, and then eventuallypromote our country’s historical education sustainable development.
