Nanchang College Cheerleading Of Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

Cheerleading was founded in the United States of America campus in1880, the initial appearance take the form of audience cheering for the athletes. The cheerleading was formally introduced into China in2000, Under the promoting of the State Sports General Administration of Sports Management Center and the National Cheerleading Promotion Committee, it become a favorite sport for the majority students with team spirit, positive features, it become an indispensable part in campus culture of contemporary era, but the cheerleading development is disequilibrium in Chinese campus. The gradual development of cheerleading in Nanchang’s colleges and universities is mainly driven by the Beijing Olympic Games live show and the Seventh City Games cheerleading performances activities. Therefore, there are some drawbacks in actuality and activity in developing cheerleading of Nanchang’s colleges and universities, there is no perfect research at present.The research object of this paper is cheerleading coaches and cheerleaders in Nanchang’s colleges and universities, through the methods of questionnaire, expert interview, literature, mathematical statistics and logic analysis and other research methods to analyze and study from coaches, athletes, event management and training in four aspects, having comprehensive understanding of cheerleading in Nanchang’s colleges and universities, analyzing drawbacks and existing problems in cheerleading development of Nanchang’s colleges and universities, providing a reasonable proposal for this sport in physical education reform, national fitness and activation of sunshine sports in Nanchang’s colleges and universities, and on this basis puts forward some relevant countermeasures of developing cheerleading. The conclusions are as follows:(1) The cheerleading is in its infancy in Nanchang’s colleges and universities, the overall level is not high, few people participate this sport. It has not formed a sporting craze.(2) The cheerleading Coaches have no professional training of ICU world Cheerleading Coaches in Nanchang, most of coaches are engaged in aerobics and dancing, lack of leading race experience.(3) The athletes are engaged in cheerleading mostly are aerobics,dancing major students,they join the cheerleading squad mainly by virtue of their own interesting, large numbers of cheerleading members are not very understanding, their comprehensive quality is not high.(4) Most of school leaders do not pay enough attention to cheerleading, lacking of security in material conditions is also a big problem in developing cheerleading of Nanchang’s colleges and universities.It will have a great influence on developing this sport.
