Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Ideological And Political Education For Students In Higher Vocational Colleges

Vocational education is an important part of higher education, which shoulders the important task of transporting highly skilled personnel to the society and plays a special role in implementing the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and strengthening the country through talents. With the continuous development of economic construction and increasingly grim employment situation, vocational education is different from the regular higher education, because of training objectives, teaching mode, specialty setup, service-oriented and so on, having their own specialties. Vocational education is getting more and more attention and recognition. According to current cultivation plan of vocational education, the ideological and political education plays an increasingly important role in strengthening professional ethics and enhancing humanity accomplishment. In this case, the quality and effects of ideological and political education for students in higher vocational colleges is good or bad that is directly related to the quality of personnel training.Since the reform and opening-up, our society has undergone enormous changes. The change of political and economic system, the deviating ideas and distorting target of running, the spread and development of information technology such as internet, all of these have a profound impact on the students’ ideological and political education work. In the face of new situation, the ideological and political education work for students in higher vocational colleges is not enough to adapt to difficulty. At present, old educational idea, lagging mechanisms, weak faculty, rigid teaching methods and student-level diversification, the comprehensive quality and so on have seriously hampered the effective development of the ideological and political education for students in higher vocational colleges. Therefore, in the process of carrying out ideological and political education, the higher vocational colleges should clearly understand and grasp the regularity and characteristics of the ideological and political education’s development in new situation, change their work idea, improve the working mechanism and gradually establish a clear responsibility mechanism, quickly and efficiently information feedback mechanisms as well as standardized and effective protection mechanisms; strengthen the teaching staff to intensify the safeguards of policy and funding; make humanity cultivation innovate and broaden the educational approach, opening theory courses and enriching humanity accomplishment activities in the second class on the basis of sufficiently clearing the particularity of the ideological and political education; more importantly, establish work ethic of student-oriented, attach importance to the humane care and strengthen humane education.
