With the development of reform and open up, Gradually,higher education, shift fromelite to popular, public education resources can not meet the growing demand for highereducation, so the Independent Institute has played a positive role in the advancement ofhigher education, the Independent Institute relies on the resources of public institution, itseducational goals is to foster application-level talent. However, the Independent Institute as anew form of education, its development is not ideal, especially the building of teaching body.The teacher’ Professional standards, teaching ability, research ability needs to be improved.The quality of teaching is the root of Independent Institute,The construction of highly qualified faculty is the fundamental guarantee of the qualityof teaching, it is imminent to enhance the independent Institute of Teachers’ professionaldevelopment is. However, in the independent colleges, many factors impede teachers’professional development.After the blog was introduced to China, the advantages of zero-technology,low-threshold go down well with teachers, which is used as reflective teaching, the educationnarrative by many teachers. At the same time, many university teachers manage the blog wellby their solid professional knowledge、The systemic knowledge structure and InformationAccomplishment. However, the valuable, free resources rarely are concerned by independentInstitute. The author thinks that blog is as a tool to promote teachers’ professionaldevelopment in Independent Institute, which has practical significance and operability. In thepaper, the author proposes that using the subject teacher’s blog develops teachers’ professionaldevelopment of Independent Institute in the perspective of knowledge management. Thesystem comes out detailed implementation strategy at the following three dimensions:organization and management strategy based on the position of the school, the blog topromote teachers’ professional development based on individual teacher’s position, theevaluation strategy based on school and teachers. At the same time, the author selected ateacher of Jilin Agricultural University as a sample, and the author have studied it andinterviewed with the Experimental teacher during a year, the results demonstrate that the thesystem can be constructed. The last part of paper show that the inadequacies of the system aswell as the vision for the future.
