Independent colleges as the end of the twentieth Century developed a newform of school running, After more than10years of development, the scalecontinue to grow, and become the important part of Higher Education. Thedevelopment of independent colleges become the focus of government andsociety, has attracted more and more attention. In recent years, scholars of theresearch on teacher professional development in many, but the main focus inthe primary and middle school teachers, the independent college teacherprofessional development research is almost blank. Independent college youngteachers as a group of teachers is a special group, their knowledge structureand level, teaching experience and the characteristics of physical and mentalhealth and primary and middle school teachers are very different, therefore thedevelopment of Independent college young teachers’ professional developmentrelated research is very necessary.This research through literature study and questionnaire investigation, theGuangdong Province independent college young teachers’ professional developmentformed a preliminary understanding, and analysis the influence of GuangdongProvince independent college young teachers’ professional development factors.The conclusions of this paper are: Guangdong Province independent collegeyoung teachers’ professional development:1, the lack of professionaldevelopment;2, the lack of a high degree of professionalism;3, narrow range ofknowledge, lack of knowledge of educational theory;4, teaching ability shouldbe improved, the lack of scientific research ability;5, the school for teachers’professional development is not strong security measures. Effects of theIndependent College Young Teachers’ professional development factors mainlyfrom three aspects: social factors, school factors and personal factors. Thesocial factors include the social status of independent college teachers inindependent colleges, government policy support; school teachers management system and the main factors of teachers’ culture, which the teacher managementsystem is one of the most important factors; personal factors include teachers’personal qualities and teachers’ Autonomous development.
