As known, there is a great amount of mathematics learning-difficult students in highschools currently. Because of some reasons e.g. psychology, studying ways etc., thesestudents can not make themselves concentrating on mathematics learning. In this paper,we shall explore and present a novel individualized teaching model for thesemathematics-learning students by considering adequately the present situation inordinary high schools.Via some investigations based on questionnaires, we shall analyze mathematicslearning-difficult students’ studying ability, learning attitude and desire. By consultingthe existing individualized teaching method suggested by Cao-Zhuang high school:Guiding thinking and self-study—Cooperative inquiry—Hierarchical evaluation, I putforward a novel individualized teaching model, that is, Direct to learn—Guidance forthinking—Hierarchical evaluation. By utilizing this method in the practical mathematicsteaching, experimental results shows that most of the mathematics learning-difficultstudents improved obviously in their mathematics learning and some made greatprogress.
