In recent years scientific quality has become core goal of international scientificeducation. Scientific view, as essential content of scientific quality, receives extensiveconcern. It not only influences students’ understanding of science, but also caninfluence forming and developments of students’ world outlook and outlook on life.At present the author finds that educational values of scientific view are not givensufficient attention and there is not enough research on related theories of contents ofscientific view, especially researches on infiltrating scientific view into physicstextbooks are very rare. Physics textbooks are extremely important curriculumresources and are vital factors for influencing students’ forming and developing ofscientific quality. Therefore it is necessary for us to make a study on the contents ofeducation on scientific view in Physics textbooks.The paper mainly makes comparative study of two sets of Physics textbooks oneducation of scientific view. Firstly the author makes a brief literature review abouttextbooks and some related current study of scientific view and presents theimportance of infiltrating education on scientific view into textbooks. On this groundwe ascertain the research question, that is, comparative study of two sets of textbookson education of scientific view. Secondly, we provides the theoretical basis, includingrelated theories on planning textbooks, investigation of scientific view fromperspectives of sociology of science, philosophy of science, scientific values andhistory of science and importance of theory of Constructivism and Humanism uponscientific view. Therefore we define what scientific view is and its rich connotation inthis research based on this ground. Finally we analyze literature review related toscientific view in scientific educational circle. Thirdly, the author establishes threelarge dimensions, namely the contents of scientific view, presentation mode ofscientific view and teaching mode of scientific view. At last, based on the comparisonand analysis of two sets of textbooks, we put forward several suggestions for editingand applying textbooks.
