Teaching efficacy effect the standard of teaching, educational outcomes andwhole professional development from the teacher themselves, it’s the judgmentof teachers’ ability to teach and change student. Higher teaching efficacypromote more positive work, more education ability to become a moresuccessful and confident outstanding teachers. Therefore, find out the currentstation of biology teachers, help them build higher teaching efficacy will lay asolid foundation better to carry out biological education.The study based on the current status of the biology teachers, aim at findingout the current situation of biology teachers after defining the significance.Learn more about the teaching efficacy of foreign and domestic researchprogress.The questionnaire be applied in this study, self-preparation of thequestionnaire, and conduct investigations in the biology teachers in the country,regain a total of237valid questionnaires, analysis of questionnaire results, thefollowing conclusions:(1) School biology teachers’ personal teaching efficacy, general teachingefficacy, and overall teaching efficacy all at a high level.(2) Different gender biology teachers’ teaching efficacy is not very different, showing that gender is not high school biology teachers’ teachingefficacy factors.(3) Different qualifications high school biology teachers have a big gapbetween teaching efficacy, the teachers have master’s degrees teaching efficacysignificantly higher than the undergraduate degree teachers, specialistqualifications of teachers teaching efficacy is higher than the teachers of theundergraduate degree, this point needs to be verified.(4) Biology teachers in teaching efficacy of the various positions, asignificant difference in performance as a teacher of biology teachers, theirteaching efficacy significantly higher than the teacher did not hold biologyteacher.(5) Efficacy of teaching high school biology teachers with seniority toadd variety to teaching for1-5years of teaching efficacy is generally high;6-10years teaching efficacy declined; the teaching of biology teachers in the11-20years efficacy rebounded, personal teaching efficacy improved, but the generalteaching efficacy declined; teaching experience for more than20years ofteaching efficacy to achieve the highest level of teaching career.(6) High school biology teachers teaching efficacy increased with thetitles of the rise in the senior teachers teaching efficacy than intermediate gradeteachers than the teachers of the junior titles. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are put forward toimprove the teaching efficacy of high school biology teacher: Strengthen theimportance of educational practice and pre-employment training of new biologyteacher; enhance the education of the entry of the biology teacher; enhance theteachers’ team spirit; to create more communication and exchange opportunitieswith students for biology teachers; promote biology teachers’ social status andprofessional prestige.
