The society is a greater need for innovative, scientific exploration of the spirit andpractical ability of a rapid development of new talent.In order to adapt to the needs of thecommunity, the new curriculum has been tested out in the classroom for five years in ourprovince, and has achieved some results. The new curriculum concept has taken up the heartsof teachers and leaders, and it has developed step by step.<The new curriculum standards forhigh school chemistry> advocate that we should start with the needs of students and socialdevelopment, focus on the advantage of chemisty and stimulate the students ’initiative andcreate awareness and promote students’ active learning.Obtaining to the process of chemical knowledge and skills to understand the chemicaland scientific investigation is contacting the social life and the formation of the process ofscience and values. The new curriculum requires a high school should be based on schoolpractical, creative way to carry out the practice of reform.Teachers in the constant practice of the process of inquiry teaching think Inquiry-basedteaching is very suitable teaching method for the new curriculum requirements.Inquiry-based teaching in high school chemistry class plays an important role and it makestudents to have a strong chemical interest in learning chemisty, the natural introduction ofnew courses is designed to explore the teaching scenario, and enhance students ’interest inlearning and promoting the development of students’ thinking ability and timely feedback toteaching effectiveness, and promote after the continuation of learning. Explore problemsituations that arouse the interest of students, teachers set the continuous application ofinquiry-based teaching which is good to explore the situation in inquiry-based teaching;Creation of inquiry-based teaching problem situation plays an important role in making theclassroom more effective. So teachers should strive to create appropriate methosd to exploreproblems caused by students`limited cognitive level in the chemistry classroom teaching. Inaddition, teachers should try to stimulate students`strong awareness of the problem, themotivation of exploring and arouse students’ active and in-depth thinking.
