A school is a cradle for talents. In order to keep abreast of the social development, the State Education Ministry is issuing and carrying out new–course reforms. In order to suit the new–course reforms and change the students'passive studying style into active one, in our teaching work we should develop the students'question awareness and the ability to settle problems, which will help foster the students'creative spirit and practical ability. In the research, we focus on how to create proper situations for the questions in chemistry teaching. Based on the past research, while creating situations for the questions in chemistry teaching, we follow certain principles, ways and methods. During the course of the research, we manage to know how much the students are interested in chemistry and how well they have learned. According to the results of the research, we can cultivate the students'question awareness and the ability to settle problems and also help the students to improve their academic records by creating reasonable and proper situations for the questions in chemistry teaching, while at the same time, it has set a higher requirement for chemistry teachers as well.
