Space imagination ability is to point to to the objective things form of the space and its symbol imagination and the ability to imagine. The study shows that the geometric curriculum professors and students space imagination ability development are closely related. It can make our use of space image language to training and development of the students’imagination space, so solid geometry is the main content of the high school mathematics learning, one of the university entrance exam is the study content. Our country "full-time ordinary high school math education outline of this aim of the course in geometry, think through the geometry of the contents of the study, can develop student’s concept of space, so solid geometry study to cultivate students’ability of the indispensable space imagination has influence. Because of this the geometric curriculum changes of student space imagination ability development also can produce very big effect.In the new round of our country at present high school curriculum reform, three-dimensional geometry as the high school curriculum important content, in the new curriculum in the professor do great adjustments. The setting of the course are changed, the content of the course have increase also have cut, professor of the contents of the order also produced very big change, professor of the course has also had the idea of change. For example in the content of the adjustment of the biggest cuts in new course is increased in the SanShiTu and ZhiGuanTu content and space vector in solving problems of the application of the solid geometry. So the new course these changes for students of the space imagination ability to have the kind of influence? Compared with the old course is positive or negative? This paper through analyzing the high school mathematics course for senior high school students were old and new space imagination ability the influence of research, testing, draw the conclusion. So that from a small compared to the side of the high school mathematics and the difference of the old and new curriculum reform of the new curriculum after to the student ability to imagine the effect of space, in order to better promote the development of the high school curriculum reform, and promote the development of the cause of China’s education.This paper mainly adopt the method of literature, comparative, statistical analysis, problem sets testing method, interview method and other methods of new and old high school math course three-dimensional geometry problem is studied. That comparison, new course more close to the life, more for students to accept, and is more suitable for the people’s cognitive order, student space imagination ability also better, and improve the students’ability to make solid geometry. To illustrate that the new course when compared to the old course has a lot of progress.
