Spatial imagination ability is an important part of mathematical thinking abilities. Improve senior school students’ spatial imagination ability,is one of the senior school curriculum standard requirements for students’ thinking abilities, It can promote students’ mathematics accomplishment ascension. The research of spatial imagination ability raise question, is to improve the quality of teaching high school mathematics, the urgent need for the students’ mathematical thinking ability and application ability.Through the literature research, understanding the existing results about the study of spatial imagination abilities, on the basis of defining relevant concepts, established the theoretical foundation is level theory of spatial imagination ability. Through the questionnaire survey and analysis, to realize senior school spatial imagination ability cultivation situation and difference; on the basis of the survey results, assisted study method of case, conducted research of teaching practice;On the basis of practice, put forward specific measures to improve senior school students’ ability of spaticl imagination.Study suggests, In the senior school mathematics teaching should adopt the following teaching strategies:in the idea aspect, teachers should correctly understand and attach great importance to the role of spatial imagination ability, training and from the students point of view to examine the spatial imagination ability value;in the classroom teaching, teachers should guide students perceive mathematics space, and make the teaching activities linked with the daily life;in the extracurricular training, teachers should organize students to carry out practice activity, and training students’ practical ability. At the same time, teachers also need to be linked spatial pattern and other disciplines, and relying on the subject of inquiry after class activities, provide the conditions for training students’ spatial imagination ability.
