The rapid development of social economy, the popularization of higher education, and the expansion of enrollment of universities result in the great increase in the number of students of various colleges and universities within a short period of time, and the tremendous pressure of job-hunting as well. Higher vocational college students, as a special group of higher education, are superior to undergraduates and postgraduates in skills, while inferior to the latter in theories. In addition, the mechanism of training, social circumstances and the inner factors of higher vocational college students pose great threat and pressure in their job-hunting, making the supply of graduates outstrip the demand of society and taking on a look of structural unemployment. The knowledge structure and ability qualities of graduates do not meet the demand of employers. On the one hand, employers have trouble finding suitable staff. On the other hand, the great number of graduates cannot find satisfactory jobs and pose tremendous pressure of job-hunting to society. In this case, the study on the career planning of higher vocational colleges is significant in reality. Timely and scientific career planning helps higher vocational college students with their ability to job-hunting, helps relieve the society of the stress of job-hunting, provides an efficient way to the development of higher vocational colleges, and promote the development of higher vocational education and the construction of the harmonious society.This thesis, focusing on the present problems of expansion of enrollment of higher vocational colleges and job-hunting of the students at present time, discusses the theme in six chapters based on the mainstay of career planning, studying on the career planning of higher vocational college students,In Chapter1, the reasons for choosing this topic is raised, and the reasons of reality and theory are analyzed. In order to have a grasp of the object of study, we will give definitions to the relevant terms of career planning, and focus on the status quo of relevant research home and abroad so as to be creative on the bases of the fruit of others.Chapter2is mainly an analysis on the necessity of career planning of higher vocational school students, which is a leading question. Through the analysis, we can not only realize the necessity of the education of career planning of higher vocational school students, but also feel the urgency of it.Chapter3mainly analyzes the existing problems of career planning of higher vocational school students, which not only serves as a summary of the status quo of career planning of higher vocational school students in China, but also provides a realistic background fro the factors affecting the career planning of higher vocational school students in the next chapter, as well as providing ideas for the countermeasures of career planning of higher vocational school students.Chapter4, based on the status quo and existing problems of career planning of higher vocational school students, tries to summarize the affecting factors from the interior and the exterior, centered on the higher vocational students. It not only a thinking of the existing problems of career planning of higher vocational school students mentioned above, but also provides the ways for reference of the countermeasures in the chapter to come.On the bases of the first several chapters, the authors manages to raise some countermeasures in Chapter5on the career planning of higher vocational school students in China, and raises a solution to higher vocational school students in hope for making some suggestions and ideas for the present difficult situations.Finally, a brief summary is made on the whole thesis.
