The Investigation And Research On Higher Vocational Students’ Career Planning Education

As the development of society and economy,higher vocational education as an important part of the education system in our country, become increasingly important.With the large-scale development of higher vocational education,it is not only concerned about the amount of training, but also to focus on training quality.However,difficulties with graduate employment has become a mainstream issue.The reasons includes both vocational schools and students’ self-education, also social support and participation of the family and family education.Thus, it is important to take effective measures to improve the quality of vocational students career planning.Although many experts and scholars have carried on the related research, but the lack of national supporting policies and measures,the insufficiency of higher vocational school understanding of students’ career planning, the lack of measures, and the lack of enough understanding and attention about career planning, leading to the ineffective way of higher vocational students’ career planning.How to improve students’ career planning education effectively,and improve vocational students career planning education system constantly, has become an important issue in Vocational Education.By investigating several representative vocational colleges of Shaanxi Province,this paper elaborate the fundamental value, domestic and foreign research situation and theoretical basis through questionnaire survey,comparative studies and documentary research method. Based on the status quo of higher vocational students’ career planning education,the main problems were found in the following aspects:Vocational students lack a clear self-awareness, students lack good psychological preparation and has weak career planning awareness, vocational colleges lack of qualified teachers and systematiccareer planning education. Based on the status quo of higher vocational college students’ career planning education guided by career development theory,and draw lessons from other advanced education countries, this paper puts forward improvement strategies from five levels of government, society, higher vocational college, families,students themselves.I hope this research can provide practical reference for higher vocational college students’ career planing.
