The counselors of Chinese colleges and universities are the backbone of college students’ work; they shoulder important task of the college students’ ideological and political education and the students’ daily management. Therefore, it plays an important role for ideological and political education and maintenance of colleges and universities stability by strengthening the construction of stimulation mechanism of college counselors.At present, some of our colleges and universities lack of attention about the importance of counselors’ work, the incentive measures focus on counselor personal work, On the one hand lead to College Counselors work problems and difficulties can not receive timely guidance and solving, Counselor group cohesion is low; On the other hand, long time engaged in repetitive work can cause the psychological fatigue, resulting in personal ability to enhance slowly and work efficiency is low, thus affect the stability of the team, also affects students daily management and the ideological and political education work.In this paper, starting from the perspective of team motivation, we use team performance management incentive、team compensation incentive and the team fair incentive these three dimensions to made some rational exploration about how to develop team motivation of college counselors under new situation. We want to have comprehensive and objective evaluation of the counselors, to achieve the best incentive effects.The first part of the body paper, I mainly discussed the theories of team motivation, Including the team performance management theory、the team compensation management theory and the team fair theory. We want to use these team motivation theories to deepen awareness and understanding of the counselor team, thus it can be effectively used to guide practice of counselors’ team building effectively.The second part of the body paper, we analysis the problems and reasons of College Counselors team motivation. The main problems are:Universities and colleges pay attention to individual performance appraisal、the individual’s basic salary and the average distribution of personal rewards. But they ignore counselor team performance management incentive、team salary incentive and team fair incentive. The fundamental reason lies in the College Counselors incentive mechanism is not perfect and the university administrators’motivation consciousness in a deviation.The third part of the body paper, we puts forward effective countermeasures to strengthen the incentive of college counselors team, including the construction of college counselors team performance management system and college counselors team compensation management system and building a fair atmosphere of college counselors team. And this paper tries to give counsel for our college counselors’team motivation construction.
