Research On The Employment Competitiveness Of The Graduates In Local Universities

Since the new century, China has realized the great-leap-forward development of graduateeducation scale only with more than ten years.In2003, China began to expense graduate studentenrollment scale, that year, the national universities enrolled in260000graduate students. In2013,university graduate student enrollment plan has amounted to584000. A decade doubled. Caused bythe employment demand and economic development unit of choose and employ persons is difficultto short time provide enough jobs the contradiction between the supply makes the current graduatestudent employment situation not clear. Master graduate student employment related to theimplementation of the strategy of China human resource development reinvigorating, related tosustained and healthy development of higher education. The employment problem is the cause ofthe social environment, but the main reason most important is the graduates’ employmentcompetitiveness. Therefore enhance graduate employability and competitiveness is urgent. Thispaper will have further research on this subject.This paper chooses a provincial university as the survey sample, a total of290questionnaireswere issued,279were recovered, the recovery rate was96.2%; of which261valid questionnaires,the effective rate was90%; according to statistics and comparison of the questionnaire, grasp thepresent situation and questions of graduate students employment competitiveness in localuniversities. The author analyzes the reasons of local university employment competitiveness fromthree aspects: individuals, schools employ; establishes a system of graduate employmentcompetitiveness by yaahp6.0level analysis software. Finally, we put forward the countermeasuresto ascend graduate employment competitiveness from the four aspects: Postgraduates, the schools,employees and the country.
