Higher education is the cradle of talent cultivation and a source of national knowledge creation. As the highest level of Higher Education, the education of graduate students shoulders the task to cultivate first-class talents, create advanced scientific research, to provide a high level of social services,whose responsibility and mission can not be replaced by any other organization. After thirty years of development after the reform and opening up, China has entered the ranks of graduate education power, and its graduate education is reached up to a high level. It is imminent to strengthen the study of graduate education, and form the graduate educational theory and subject system with Chinese characteristics.In China, the training mode of graduate education is classfication, which is means the academic graduate and the professional graduate develop together. This thesis is a study on the basic situation of full-time academic graduate students in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions and their specific research situation and the main research methods are literature and investigation. The specific research situation of the full-time academic graduate students in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions is analyzed from the four dimensions, which are research conditions, research ability, scientific spirit and scientific research achievements. The results are as follow: firstly, the full-time academic graduate students generally accept the research condition which is supplied by their university. Secondly, the full-time academic graduate students in different disciplines and different grade have different research abilities. Meanwhile, the tutor plays a very important role in improving academic students’ scientific research abilities. Thirdly, the evaluation of full-time academic graduate students for their own research ethics is generally low. The highest rate of two factors are impetuous social atmosphere and the lacking in self discipline. Finally, in the aspect of scientific research achievement, there are also big differences among different groups of full-time academic graduate students.The research activities of the full-time academic graduate students in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions are affected by the academic atmosphere of universities and social utilitarianism thought, and scientific research innovation ability needs to be improved. Therefore, some measures should be implemented, such as good academic atmosphere should be created, creativity of the full-time academic graduate students should be cultivated, scientific spirit should be strengthened, and academic morality should be enhanced. In such a situation, there will be more space for the full-time academic graduate students in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions.
