| The development of University education is a gradually cognitive processes oftraining what kind of talents, the goal of modern university education is to train all-rounddevelopment of talents. College students in shaping individual ability process need tolearn many types of course，the scientific nature of the curriculum often determineswhether college students can become a comprehensive development of talents. Themodern university will integrate the humanistic spirit into daily teaching link, its purposeis to make talents with a solid grasp of that is the professional technical knowledge, andwho has a high Humanistic care spirit. General education is through curriculum Settingsof the humanities course, natural science, social science, to reach the organic integrationof develop capacity and promote quality, to cultivate the ability of the students’ overalldevelopment and to improve the students’ comprehensive quality especially humanisticquality.At present, in our country most have opened general education courses.Undoubtedly, general education curriculum promotes the formation of universitystudents’ humanity quality effectively. However, understanding of general education inall universities are different, rationality of general education curriculum are also different.As a result, the general education courses have some shortcomings, mainly expressing onincomplete teachers configuration, limited teachers’ quality, unreasonable curriculum andso on. These unreasonable aspects have certain gaps with the original purpose of generaleducation, it also makes the influence of general education to the students failed toachieve the desired effect.This article is aimed at the cultivation of college students’ cultural spirits. Bytheoretical illumination and comprehensive analysis, etc., we can analyze current statusof general education’s cultivating cultural spirits in colleges, thus pointing out influencesunder current inappropriate social ideological trends, the lack of leadership in buildingcorrect sense of worth among college students, traditional colleges’ ignoring cultivationof the inner world of college students, which all affecting the development of humanisticspirit of college students. Therefore we are able to conclude the main issues about insufficient implementing of the goal of cultivating humanistic spirit, the failure of acomplete combination of professional and quality education, incomplete development offaculty, etc. Meanwhile, it proposes the pathway and method of improving levels ofgeneral education, like setting up curriculum of general education containing humanisticspirit, and promoting its attraction. The elevation of humanistic spirit among collegestudents with the help of this article is expected. |
