The full-time ordinary high school physics new curriculum standards reflect the concept of the newcurriculum reform, the overall goals and the specific goals of the new curriculum standards, especially forthe goals of emotion-attitude and values, putting forward a clear and significant requirement for HumanisticSpirit Education in Physics Teaching in senior high school. The senior high school students are in period ofpsychological transition, which is the best time of Humanism Spirit Education for students, during theperiod the essential Humanism Spirit Education can not only improve their humanistic literacy, but also hasa great help to the formation of correct outlook on their life, sense of worth and world outlook.This article first analyses the research background and research significance of Humanistic SpiritEducation, examine the theoretical value of humanity spiritual education, and have a literature review aboutthe recent relevant research of home and abroad in the part of theoretical analysis; secondly, defines thehumanistic spirit and its related concepts and the relationship of each other, and demonstrates the categoryof contained humanistic spirit education in Physics Teaching in senior high school; and then discusses thetheory evidences of cultivating humanistic spirit in Physics Teaching in senior high school, and analyses thenecessity of training humanistic spirit in Physics Teaching in senior high school from four fields (qualityeducation, the concept of education in high school curriculum, current situation of physics teaching and thementality characteristic of senior high school students). This article designed the questionnaire about thesituation of high school students’ humanism spirit education and the questionnaire about high schoolphysics teachers, combination of the theoretical analysis and the existing research results, and based of theunderstanding of the humanistic spirit education. Have getten some objective and plentiful results from thequestionnaires, by surveying on students and teachers at different schools. For example, by analyzing thestudent questionnaire, founding that many students’ situation of humanistic spirit is not optimistic, most ofthe students’ scientific spirit and the patriotism spirit is commendable, but utilitarian thinking in learning isserious, lacking of their own knowledge, lacking of confidence, communication and teamwork with othersand concern of society need to be raised further. And the outlook on life and sense of worth of students alsoneeds to be trained. By analyzing the teacher questionnaire, have found that some teachers lack of knowledge about connotation of humanistic spirit, lack of knowledge about humanistic spirit educationimproving overall quality of students, and can’t dig the source material of humanistic spirit education inphysics teaching, have not enough attention on the relationship of physics and social life, also lack ofresponsibility for students, so these teachers can’t do full penetration of the humanistic spirit in physicsteaching. According to the survey results of humanistic spirit education, putting forward some suggestionsof training humanistic spirit in physics education from schools factors. This article also designed a teachingcase, which has a not well result, but this reflects that the humanistic spirit education is a long term process,and that it will take efforts of the whole society.
