Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Cultivation Of College Students’ Humanistic Spirit In New Period

The humanistic spirit refers to the accumulation of human’s outstanding culture, and italso lies in individual’s spiritual character. The cultivation of humanistic spirit is not onlyrelated to the individual’s all-round development, but also related to the shape of nationalspirit. Cultivation of humanistic spirit of college students in the new period is in need ofcollege students’ internal demand, the embodiment of modern educational thought anddemand of modern social development. The cultivation of college students in colleges anduniversities is not only about the training of skills, but the cultivation of all-rounddevelopment of the individuals who can possess rich cultural connotation, noble personalityand character and professional knowledge and skills. If we ignore the cultivation ofhumanistic spirit in the process of colleges’ student education and training, the universityeducation is bound to have instrumental value, and it is impossible to achieve all-rounddevelopment of college students and the realization of goal of higher education. Therefore, tostudy the humanistic spirit of college students in the new period, to strengthen the cultivationof humanistic spirit of college students, and guide the students to establish correct worldoutlook, outlook on life and values, are all worth thinking deeply.This paper does the research mainly through the sampling questionnaire survey method,literature method, historical research method and theory with practice analysis. Through alarge collection of results of domestic and foreign scholars in this field，this paper summarizesthe development trends of research field of the cultivation of college students’ humanisticspirit, and lay a solid foundation for further study on this subject. This paper adopts thequestionnaire method to investigate, take the statistics and analysis of the students in Xi’anUniversity of Science And Technology, Shaanxi Normal University, Northwest University,Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications, Xi’an University of Finance andEconomics and Xi’an University of Technology, on the basis of use scholars’ study for reference, the author thinks that the cultivation of humanistic spirit of college students in thenew period having the following problems:(1) cultivating target indistinction;(2) the lack ofhierarchy and integrity of the cultivation content;(3) lack of practice and innovation of thecultivation methods;(4) the knowledge-based and the scientific tendency of the cultivation ofuniversity students’ humanities spirit;(5) lack the consciousness and initiative of collegestudents. Analysis of the causes of the above problems were included:(1) the utilitarian ofcultivating target of universities;(2) the lack of universities’ emphasis;(3) the defects intraditional cultivation methods;(4) the impact of the utilitarian trend of market economy;(5)the cognitive misunderstanding of colleges’ students. Under the guidance of this theoreticalresearch and practical work, this paper proposed the following countermeasures based on theanalysis of existing problems and reasons:(1) change the cultivation goal, to foster goal toachieve free and comprehensive development of university students;(2) to keep up with thedevelopment, and the level of integrity of the rich humanistic spirit’s cultivation content;(3)to create a good atmosphere of the colleges’ humanities, and develop the practical andinnovative training methods;(4) strengthen the humanities education in colleges, promote thecombination of humanistic education and professional education;(5) to guide college studentsto play the subjective initiative, and achieve the internalization of humanistic spirit;(6) thelearning from the experiences and practices of domestic and foreign colleges’ cultivation ofhuman spirit. At the same time, in order to make the college students’ humanistic spiritcultivation measures can be effectively implemented, this paper also put forward specificmeasures:(1) to perfect the training mode of higher education;(2) to strengthen theconstruction of university human environment；(3) to pay attention to the cultivation of theelucidators’ humanistic spirit.
