Nanjing In The Process Of Urbanization Of Migrant Workers And City Sports Fusion Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

Based on Sociology Theory Guidance, using the methods of checking documents, questionnaire servey, interviews, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis, we do a reaserch on migrant workers’ Sports joining in Nanjing City, through the investigation and study, getting basic information about Nanjing migrant workers’ sports situation, exploring the efficient ways to promote rural migrant workers’ sports joining,and providing basis and reference for government further step to improve peasant workers sports condition, promote the migrant workers active participation on sports, finally realizing the integration between society and urban sports.Research shows that the level of migrant workers joining urban sports is low. The basic sports conditions of migrant workers exist in the following points:exercise mainly popular in young and middle-aged male, social contacts modes mainly depending on blood and geographical relations, less dependent on formal and institutional social support,hardly regarding sports as a way to contact with others; lower cultural quality,unclear understanding on the sports function, lack of internal motivation on sports participation;taking little time on sports activities,single sports activity because of lacking sports skills;lagging behind sports consumption idea and lack of the right guidance,consuption mainly on purchasing speculative sports lottery;limited sports facilities on migrant workers’ life and work places can’t satisfy their sports needs. Community,as a link between urban and rural residents, has implemented a series of positive measures to promote rural migrant workers’ sports joining, but due to insufficient capital and the discrimination psychology from urban resident,the migrant workers’ sports joining is still very hard. But what is worth noting is that,as the improvment of migrant workers’ salary and educated levels,their spiritual and cultural needs including sports is gradually increasing.Aiming at solving urban migrant workers’ sports problems, the efficient ways are:the government should fully display their function to ensure the sharing of sports facilities between migrant workers and city residents; Build all the relevant laws,regulations and the social security system to guarantee the realization of migrant sports’ rights; The government should increase capital investment to supply convenient exercise location and equipment for migrant workers; Supply non-profit exercise guidence and help migrants workers master necessary sports skills;Promote migrant workers’ new socialization;Master the urban sports behaviors;Play the important role of community management services to build the sports culture atmosphere of equality and helping each other; Strengthen the education training on migrant workers, improve their ability of joining urban sports,etc.
