Student management is one of the most important content of school management. The thesis discusses the student management of the period of1912-1927, through to give you a broad overview about the transformation of the student management, trying to find the reasons of the change and provide a reference for today student management. The thesis divided the development of Ordinary secondary school student management in the early of Republic of China into three times of the first years of the Republic, before and after the May4th Movement and after the issue of the "New Educational System" in1922, by drives the line of the change of "Removal of feudalism","The democratization of exploration" and "Democratization of the development"In particular, Nanjing Interim Government had set up the sense of secondary education for the capitalist class. The government published a series of education laws and regulation for the capitalist class which tried to get rid of the feudalism educational administration thought of the late Qing Dynasty. However, it had little effect because of short time and Yuan Shi Kai restoration. It had a long distance with the educational criterion of modem democratic. Therefore, wipe off the feudal character was a principal character in this time’s student management thoughts and model.The rising of the New Culture Movement profound impact on secondary education, enable object of secondary education on thought have the fierce change. Students’ democratic consciousness was aroused. In order to pursuit their rights and vent their frustration, caused student unrest frequently. Especially the ordinary secondary school of student unrest is the most serious. It Lead to many secondary schools can’t carry on normal teaching work. As a result, the educators had to change the customary sense and old management mode to resolve the student management problem just at that time. Then, they learned student government from the United States of America and established student self-governing association. But school administrators didn’t realize the true meaning of this management mode and had no enthusiastic and confidence in student government. Therefore, they couldn’t give students the right guidance and received a little impact. In a word, the time is a preliminary exploration period for education democratization. The student management mode had been changed. It has gradually transform form simplex system management to personification management, which tried to give students democratic rights and the independent opportunity in consideration of the development of students’physically and mentally. Because democratic ideal hadn’t spread a long time, a lot of students hadn’t enough self-governing ability. On the other hand, school administrators mistook students self-governing for left the students to themselves without any school guidance and supervise, which given rise to a power trip for the students after the May4th Movement who couldn’t accept constraints. Consequence, the student management of China fell into an ultra-democracy mode after wiped off the feudal character’s despotism management mode."The New Educational System" in1922was an achievement of "the New Culture Movement" and "the May4th Movement", which educators learned from the advanced western educational thoughts combined with China’s realities, especially the irrationality of the1912-1913educational system. The guiding ideology of "The New Educational System" paid more attention on the connection education with the society. It emphasized the personality of the pupils. It had strong democratic breath and high scientific spirit."The New Educational System" promoted the temporal reformation of the ordinary secondary student management. The students management had been transformed form management to training.
