Discipline as a kind of education, especially as a kind of kindergarten education, its significance is concerning and supporting children’s physical and mental health development from early childhood, getting ready for their future into society. Kindergarten discipline is not the general sense of discipline in adult’s world, it is through teaching children the rules and restrictions, let children to learn how to control their behaviors, show their sense of responsibility on behaviors.This study is the specialized research aimed at kindergarten discipline education, it finds:kindergarten discipline, rules, routine, the three of them are related to each other in education form, penetrated each other in education content, but they are different. Based on the in-depth interviews of kindergarten teachers, they expound their views on what is the kindergarten discipline, the necessity of the kindergarten discipline education, the purpose of kindergarten discipline education, the reasonable discipline education, how to carry out the discipline education and so on; Based on the observation of the implementation status of the discipline education in kindergarten, the researcher finds that kindergarten discipline education content includes three aspects:to cultivate good behavior habits, to maintain the kindergarten’s institutionalized life, specialized education of discipline; through anglicizing the results of in-depth interview and observation, the research results show the characteristic of current Chinese kindergarten discipline education:external constraint, the passivity of the education subject, formulate discipline from top to bottom, the formalization of discipline education; through tiding up the interviews and observations again, the researcher think that Chinese kindergarten education policies, traditional ideas of education, kindergarten’s teachers, parents, kindergarten environments, children themselves, they are the impact factors of kindergarten discipline education. Through analyzing the present discipline education of kindergarten, to reveal kindergarten discipline education’s real situation; the researcher puts forward some suggestions to promote the further development of the kindergarten discipline education.
