"Optimizing the teaching and learning styles, improving learners’ learning ability" is one of the basic concepts of the new curriculum reform. Effective teaching that advocates innovative, problem solving, flexible and personalized approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in the21st century. However, the traditional lecture-style teaching is still prevalent in postgraduate courses nowadays. And students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative study consciousness has not been mobilized completely which leads to boring and monotonous classroom atmosphere, less concentration on expertise study and inefficient learning. Obviously, this approach is not in line with the implementation of the concept of the new curriculum reform.In this study, the author aims at exploring and designing a new learning mode-Blended Learning Mode which reflects the concept of new curriculum reform via the combination of the course of the Basic Principles of the Educational Technology for the major of Master of Education set by Ningxia University. The author discusses the function of each part in detail and then put the model into two rounds of teaching practice. Besides, the author studies the practice effect and existing problems empirically after tracking, observing, surveying and interviewing through two semesters.The author found that the revised Model not only fits for the requirements of the course of the Basic Principles of the Educational Technology but also advances the learners’ attitude, idea, cognition and the ability of all aspects and achieves desired results of the course. However, the author also found some problems, such as, learners’ weak adaptability to the new Model for differences of professional backgrounds, unsatisfactory learning level of the online learning resource offered by teacher. |
