Liaoning Province stepped into the trend of senior high school curriculum reform in2006, which was launched in some given provinces in China in2004. This newcurriculum reform aims to deepen the reform of basic education and focuses on thepersonality development, autonomous learning ability and creativity of the students.Students are learning masters in teaching activities while to free the students, dilute theforce and restraint, to give more encouragement, inspiration and induction, is ourteachers’ goal. However, in the traditional classroom teaching environment, it is difficultto achieve true self-learning. Through years of teaching work, I have come to my ownteaching model by means of “study scheme leading study”.“The study scheme leading study” concentrates on the teaching plan’s guidingstudents’ self-teaching. By respective encouragement activities, the study schemeleading study stimulates the students’ interest in history, develops the students’ historythinking, inspires the students to learn history, improve the students’ learning quality.My challenge is to do some research into the several aspects of senior high schoolhistory teaching: the basic teaching concept, assessment criterion, the teaching designand so on. My research involves a few types of senior high schools in the area of Dalianby my “study scheme leading study” teaching plan, with the purpose of improving thehistory teaching efficiency and finally realizing the dream of “quality education”.
