The New Curriculum Reform has been implemented in most parts of the country. The decisive factor, which involves the successful implementation of the new curriculum concept, is whether classroom teaching practice really gets implemented, whether the new idea can promote the teaching effect in geography class. Based on constructivism learning theory, this paper discusses the main characteristics and teaching models under the constructivist learning theory, expounds the influence of the geography curriculum reform made by the constructivism learning theory, gives a detailed explanation to how constructivism influences geographical classroom teaching by learning about its impact in geographical classroom teaching efficiency in the form of questionnaire and interview, and puts forward efficient geographical classroom teaching strategies, which is empirically analyzed through teaching experiments. The article is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction. This part introduces the background and significance of the research on senior geography class teaching efficiency under constructivism, this paper expounds the current research status of constructivism home and abroad, also gives an overview to the research scheme.The second part:constructivism and its inspiration to Geography New Curriculum Reform. This part firstly introduces constructivism origins and main ideas, discusses the theory of constructionism, three main teaching strategies, combining the current geography curriculum reform practice, and analyzes enlightenment of the current geography constructivism theory of curriculum reform.The third part:geography class teaching efficiency overview. Firstly, definithe geography class teaching efficiency by definition, and combining with the teaching practice detailed geographical factors affecting the classroom teaching efficiency and draw constructivism for improving geography class teaching efficiency important meaning.The fourth part, constructivism learning theory in current geography class teaching effect. This section and from the establishment of new students, geographical roles of teacher and students repositioning change the way of, born this orientation of geography teaching design, geography teaching media reasonable apply such five aspects of constructivist learning theory to the current geography class teaching effect.The fifth part, with the constructivist learning theory improve geographic classroom teaching efficiency strategy.
