Under the background of new curriculum reform, there is aprofessional knowledge integration of primary, intermediate highereducation and interdisciplinary absorption and such new curriculumconcepts as ability to practice and operate and exploratory cooperation posesevere challenges to teachers. As the researchers and practitioners of thenew curriculum reform and implementation, the teaching and research staffbridge the gap between the new curriculum reform theory and practice andplay the role of leaders, directors as well as service providers of thedevelopment of the teaching staff. The quality of communication betweenthe teaching and research staff and teachers has a direct effect on thedirection of the professional development of teachers and the effectiveimprovement of teaching quality and determines depth and extent of theimplementation of curriculum reform.This thesis investigates the current communication problems existingbetween Dalian primary school teaching and research staff and teacherswith reference to questionnaire, interview and relevant communicationliterature. On the basis of the research findings of existing communication,the causes of the communication problems are analysed in detail andconstructive suggestions with regard to communcation between teachingand research staff and teachers are put forward. This study is intended tofill the domestic and overseas void in the filed of theoretical research oncommunication between teaching and research staff and teachers, improvethe communication between teaching and research staff and teachers, givethe full play to the research staff’s expert coaching and effectiveprofessional guidance, promote the professional development of teachersand provide the educational administration departments with scientific data and theoretical grounds when the policy of management and motivationmechanism is laid down.This thesis is composed of five parts.Part I elaborates on the background and the research significance andgives the scientific definition of connotation of communication between theteaching and research staff by means of literature review; Part II presentsthe reliability and validity with the help of questionnaire, interview,investigation and implementation process; Part III shows the statisticalfindings of the current communication between the primary school teachingand research staff and teachers; Part IV reveals the problems ofcommunication between the teaching and research staff by means ofcomparison and presents a detailed analysis of teaching and research staff,teachers,education management and social factors; Part V puts forwardconstructive suggestions to teaching and research staff, teachers andeducation managers according to communication problems so that they canset up correct values, foster the life-long learning concept, improve thecommunication skills and education management system, enhancecommunication effectiveness.Part Ⅵ drew a basic conclusion aboutadvantages and disadvantages of communication between the teaching andresearch staff, and the original part.
