Teaching of the Chinese reading is an important part in primary and secondary school. During the early1940’s, Ye Shengtao and Zhu Ziqing two language educators co-authored the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance, not only improving the teaching of the Chinese reading,but also having an importance guidance to reform the teaching of reading today.In this paper, the conception of teaching reading from the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance is the research object. The whole passage includes three parts:preface, text and conclusion. The text is divided into four chapters. The main contents of every part are following:Preface:outlines the status of this research, the reason topics, research ideas and research methods.Chapter1:the background of the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance:mainly from two aspects to describe: the development of the conception of teaching reading since the department of modern languages single set, and in the1940s, the formation of the conception of intensive reading and skim reading.Chapter2:the main contents of the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance:mainly from introduction views, material views, curriculum-based views and method views to describe the main contents of these two reading instruction books.Chapter3:the historical position of the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance:the conception of teaching reading in these two reading instruction books as compared with the ancient conception of teaching reading and the modern western education theory respectively, with the purpose of clearing similarities and differences between them and the common law relationships.Chapter4:the modern sense of the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance: given the current problems in teaching reading and combine the inspiration from the conception of teaching reading in these two reading instruction books, reading strategies are put forward in this paper.Conclusion: the harvest of the study, the existing inadequacy and its future directions.In this paper, The innovation lies in the fact that through analysis and study the conception of teaching reading in the Examples of Intensive Reading Guidance and the Examples of Skim Reading Guidance written by Ye Shengtao and Zhu Ziqing, revealing the useful enlightenment of current teaching reading, and resolving the problems that exit.
