With the development of science and technology and the progress of the society, Students’values, ways of thinking and way of life in our country college has changed a lot. The ideological and political work of higher vocational college students majoring in art has entered a new historical period, How to grasp the art students’ideological characteristics and how to develop moral education work effectively, is the main task of our thought workers in universities.Therefore, this article is mainly written with the part art students of higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi province as an example, through the analysis of literature and questionnaire survey method, Comparison with moral education condition of college students majoring art in higher vocational colleges, It is made for the further analysis. analyzed comprehensively the art students’thoughts and behavior, life and other characteristics in higher vocational colleges, grasped deeply their ideological and political quality status and causes. Firstly sumed up the thought and behavior characteristics from these students with positive and negative aspects. Secondly analyzed the causes of the art students moral education from the social environment, family environment, school environment and students’ own quality difference. Finally based on the art students’ thought characteristic in higher vocational college, combined with the art class specialized characteristics. To innovate work manner and method, and put forward some countermeasures, so as to improve the level of students’ moral education in higher vocational colleges.The main purpose of this study focus on, through collecting art students’moral education from part of higher vocational college in Jiangxi province, analyzing the causes according to the characteristics, playing a variety of advantageous factors and putting forward some effective measures and suggestions, further explore a new way which is conducive to the health of students, comprehensive and developmental. Through this paper,1hope that I can provide some help and reference to art students’ moral education of higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi province and even the national.
