Study On The Social Security Problems Of Migration Population In Shanghai

With the increasing migration of the population day and day, their social securityproblems have become prominent. Many scholars pay attention to this problem in recentyears. As a typical immigrant city, the migration population’s social security issue is alsomore outstanding. This article takes a special migration groups——Huihu retiredknowledge youth as an example to study their difficulties and problems, and puts forwardcorresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Compared with the local population, the migration population not only have to solvethe problem of survival for themselves and families, but also meet all kinds of socialintegration problems. To the migration population, the original social support system hasbeen interrupted, they have to bear a greater pressure. When they face some difficult, theymay feel isolated and helpless, become more sensitive and fragile. The Huihu retiredknowledge youth is same to them.The social security system is an important support system, which is not taken intoaccount the migration groups’ interests in the process of the system design. The migrationpopulation can’t transfer their social insurance relation or transfer part of the socialinsurance fund, so this make their social security rights and interests suffer loss. The Huihuretired knowledge youth has been living in Shanghai, but they can’t enjoy the same socialsecurity rights as the people of Shanghai. So they easily become poor or disadvantagedgroups. To solve the problem of their social security must adhere to the principle of toensure the migration group’s legitimate rights and interests and keep them fromimpoverished or disadvantaged situation.The innovation of the article lies in choosing the Huihu retired knowledged youth such a special migration groups, through the design of the questionnaire, not only from thephysical point of view, but also from the psychological point, to measure and descript theHuihu retired knowledged youth’s disadvantaged side. According to the survey data by thefitting of the income function to calculate the Huihu retired knowledged youth’s povertyline, so as to help the Huihu knowledged youth to provide reference data for theirallowance. In addition, and the Shanghai city other town dweller poverty line are compared,thereby to resolve their social security question urgency, necessity and importance.This paper mainly uses the literature material law, questionnaire survey method,interview method, quantitative statistic method and the logical analysis method and so on.In this paper, a total of eight chapters, can be divided into three parts: the first chapter isthe basic part, mainly describes the basic theory of population migration, Shanghaipopulation migration and the Huihu retired knowledged youth’s social security status. Thefifth chapter and the sixth chapter is the main part of this paper, mainly Huihu retired youthsurvey analysis and Huihu retired youth poverty study. By using the SPSS software systemon the questionnaire data for statistical analysis, to illustrate the Huihu retired knowledgedyouth’s existing social security problem. The last part is the conclusion of this article,through drawing lessons from international advanced experience puts forward to solveHuihu retired knowledged youth’s social security problems and countermeasures.
