"Hundred years’ policy based on education;while the education plicy based on teachers."To develop education,of course,the development of the teachers should be in the first place. With the deepening of the reform of rural education, rural teachers’ knowledge and degree structure are continuously optimized. The salary and welfare are also constantly optimized. However, while compared with urban areas, there are still a huge gap. One of the important performance is that rural teachers’ professional development is still very inefficient.The development of rural English teachers is one of the important topics widely concerned from all sectors of the community in recent years.From the integration of the existing research on the teachers’professional development.I found that there were more studies focusing on the group areas. Rural teacher and each subject teachers’ professional development issues are still not comprehensive and deeper. This study will put junior middle school English teachers’ professional development as the research direction. Based on the actual situation in Jiangxi province and English teachers’ professional particularity. I devote myself to research by combining the theoretical and empirical methods.I have visited9middle schools from4counties of Jiangxi province.talking with a lot of rural junior middle school English teachers and observing through the class.I am trying to answer these questions below:(1)Rural junior middle school English teachers’professional development has the common features as well as particularities with other teachers.but where the particularities are?What about the present situation of their development?(2) What about the English teaching situation in rural middle schools and where are the problems in the process of the professional development of rural English teachers?where the reasons are?(3)If there are some effective measurs to improve the rural junior middle school English teachers’professional development level.In short. Finding out the current situation and problems; Analysing the existing problems and influence factors; Exploring effective ways and methods. In the first chapter of this article. The research background and significance are introduced. the related concepts are defined. And the previous research achievements are summarized.the second chapter putting the independent consciousness of teacher professional development、class teaching、Teaching research and education training situation as the research dimensions;Designing and analysizing the questionnaire; Summarizing the present situation of rural junior middle school English teachers’ professional development combining with my inteview record..The result is there were many rural English teachers did not realize the importance of professional development; lot of them are weak about teaching research ability; The content of the training that the school gives is not in conformity with the teachers’ practical needs;The training chance is not enough and training time are not reasonable for many teachers. All in all, rural English teachers’professional development is in a state of disorder state.the third chapter analysized the influencing factors on rural junior middle school English teachers’ professional development:Including their own factors and external factors such as society.school.policy and so on.in the last chapter.this article put forward some relevant countermeasures on rural junior middle school English teachers’ professional development path. Mainly including independent development strategy and external supportive strategy.
