Higher education in China is now gradually transformed from "elite education" into "popular education" along with the continuous economic and social development, deepening of higher education system reform and the increasing diversification of social value orientation. Meanwhile, job market has become more competitive nowadays and employment situation has been increasingly serious for college graduates. As a widely concerned social issue, the undergraduates’ employment has become a key to the sustainable development of Chinese higher education, to the social stability and harmony as well as to the the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development. Though various factors including the nation, the society, the government, the university and the family cause the employment difficulties together, the crucial point to solving the problem is still the undergraduates’employability enhancement, which has been an urgent issue today.,This thesis takes the undergraduates’ employment difficulties for the starting point of the study and the employability for the breakthrough point. Proceeding from China’s national condition and the present higher education state, this thesis analyzes in depth the undergraduates’ employability situation in three aspects:undergraduates’ employment situation, employability expectation and demand for employability enhancement. In the meanwhile, it explores the factors affecting the undergraduates’ employability enhancement and problems in undergraduates’ employment idea, employment psychology, employability skill, employment support and so on. This thesis reviews the existing research overviews in undergraduates’ employability, explains the concept and constitution of undergraduates’ employability, organizes and summarizes in detail the existing theoretical and practical achievements, discusses the practical need for undergraduates’ employability enhancement in three aspects: economic and social transformation, social and cultural diversity and deepening of education revolution. This thesis makes a summing up of the present educational recourses and technologies, combines with the practical work, especially a list of measures taken by the college in promoting students’ employability, it then puts forward the "six-dimensional" service system to enhance undergraduates’employability in the service view. It explains the internal logic of the "six-dimensional" system which include Ideological support, material support,policy support, psychological support, channel support and development support, it also puts forward concrete strategies for the practical use, and talks about its meaning and value in personal training and education value regression.
