Research On The Status Quo Of Investigation And Promotion Strategies Of College Students' Employment Ability

“Employment” has been a hot topic in the society and higher education.With the number of college graduates increasing year by year,their employment problems are more serious.Employability is one of the key factors that determine the success of college students' employment,so it's profound and far reaching significant to study College students' employability and its enhancement strategies.Based on the existing research results,domestic and foreign,employability was divided into professional ability,social integration ability,career planning ability,self-improvement and general competence to study the present employability situation of undergraduates and graduates.These conclusions have been confirmed:First,the average level of undergraduates' professional competence and career planning ability is lower.Second,graduates are dominantly advantageous in professional ability,career planning ability and self-improvement.Third,there is no significant difference between academic and professional graduate students.Forth,there is no obvious gender difference.Fifth,it's related to the experience of student leader internship,employment guidance,parents' education experience,and family location.This study suggests that employability is the result of the interaction among themselves,practice and employment support.To promote the employability of college students,we need to strengthen their self-support,educational support and social support.Paying attention to the cultivation of college students' comprehensive quality is the basic requirement of promoting employment,optimizing the function of higher education is the effective condition to enhance the employability of college students,and creating a favorable social atmosphere is an important guarantee to enhance the employability of college students.
