Taking the responsibility of educating people with abilities of innovation, profession and having dreams for our modernization construction, Professional High School, which is included in Secondary Vocational Education, is an important basis of social economy development. Although currently Secondary Vocational Education is developing fast under the encouragement of our country’s policy, it still encounters many problems and hidden dangers. For example, some students sleep, play cell phones, read novels in class or even don’t attend classes, which are called implicit dropout or recessive dropout. If this phenomenon is ignored, implicit dropout will develop as explicit drop out, which is real lose of education. The question the writer is considering recently is:considering the local situation, as a professional teacher, how to teach students appropriately, attract more students, complete teaching task successfully and decrease the percentage of recessive drop out effectively?The research is divided into six parts and its main contents are as follows:Part1:IntroductionFirstly, this part elaborates the background of the selected topic, asks some questions, and defines the related concepts. Secondly, it analyzes the research status about recessive dropout at home and abroad, presents the research purpose, research objects, research contents and methods. Finally, it points out that the theory basis of research.By looking for the theory to support, ensure the scientific research methods, and keep the research direction of clarity, it avoids detours in the study.Part2:Investigation and analysis of the recessive dropout’s reasonWith teachers and students in a Xinyang City Vocational High School as the sample of this study, it has a detailed description of the use of observation, questionnaire and interview method to carry out investigation process, and analyzes the survey results of the analysis process. Based on the analysis of the survey results, the author further refines out recessive dropout in the present situation, and analyzes the main reason and influence of recessive dropout from the perspective of the front-line teachers.Part3:The countermeasure of recessive dropoutWith teachers’ countermeasures for source, and "double subject" teaching model as the core, teachers should pay attention to this method more(teach only the essential and ensure plenty of practice), teach students in accordance with their aptitude. They can use Hierarchical Method, Task-driven Method, Virtual Approach and modern teaching means to enhance the attraction of classroom teaching and pay attention to guiding students’ learning methods, let the students "love learning" and have learned something.Part4:The case and the effect of recessive dropout countermeasuresWitha computer professional course of "Computer Assembly and Maintenance" teaching for case in a Xinyang Vocational High School, through one of two-courses teaching process, the author minutely describes how to enhance the classroom attractive to reduce recessive dropout occurred. Finally, the author investigates from three aspects, and analyzes the actual effect after teaching reform of the course.Part5:ConclusionThis research can be concluded as follows:Xinyang Vocational High School has recessive dropout rateof about50%.From the perspective of pedagogy front-line teachers, the main reasons are the students and teachers in two aspects.Taking teacher as the leading factor, student as the main body, teaching only the essential knowledge and ensuring plenty of practice, which is the guiding ideology.Also, the introduction of modern education technology, the using of Hierarchical Method, Task-driven Method, Virtual Approach and the attention is paid to the classroom penetration research method instruction, can effectively reduce the recessive dropout rates, curb dropout occurs. Finally, it points out the existing problems and research direction in future.
