| At present, the rural education problem is no longer manifested as a high dropout rate, but turns into a relatively hidden "recessive dropout",that is,some middle school students on school days show negative learning attitude, behavior, with deep learning-weariness and even skipping class.Recessive dropout makes some students unable to reserve the basic knowledge of compulsory education stage.Due to poor social competitiveness, even if they enter the society, they can only engage in low-skilled jobs, which is not conducive to their healthy growth and future development, hinders the progress and development of their families, and causes a great waste of educational resources, affecting the rural education development. The problem of recessive dropout has existed since the beginning of education, but has not attracted people’s attention as a kind of social problem. The academic circle has taken recessive dropout as the research object for a short time, and it is still in the initial stage. The corresponding social work cases are less involved, and the countermeasures explored are not mature enough. In the early stage of this study,a large number of questionnaires were conducted on the students of W Middle School, and the current situation of the hidden dropout problem of W Middle School was summarized.According to the recommendation of teachers, the researchers selected 6 students with serious recessive dropout problem.Through in-depth interviews with 6 students, their parents and teachers, the individual factors and external factors of recessive dropout are analyzed. It is supported by ecosystem theory and advantage perspective theory.First of all,we do group work for these 6 students with hidden dropout problem, and help them solve the hidden dropout problem through peer group communication in group activities.Secondly, case work was done on one member of the group, and further intervention was made on the problem that he often had the idea of dropping out. Finally, process evaluation and outcome evaluation are carried out for group work and case work respectively. The results show that group work and case work are effective in intervening in the problem of hidden drop-out of adolescents, and the service subjects have obviously made positive changes after participating in intervention services. As the problem of rural teenagers’ recessive dropout is very complex,it needs the comprehensive efforts of many subjects. We put forward countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects. One is the personal level:(1)develop good learning habits and interests,(2)learn emotional regulation, improve stress resistance. The second is the family level:(1)to give emotional support,(2)to form a good example.Third,at the school level:(1)to carry out psychological counseling,(2)to link social worker resources. |
