| Composition teaching has been considered as the essential component of Chinese Teaching. The score of composition is not only the important aspect of Chinese comprehensive quality but also a criterion to judge the standard of Chinese study. Reading teaching and composition teaching are important components of Chinese teaching. Integration of reading with writing is a crystallization of wisdom which has to be updated and supplemented. Reading is the basis of all other steps on the training of writing ability in composition class. Reading and writing are two wings in language teaching, they are complementary and inseparable. Attributing to the influences of the traditional educational concept, less attention has been paid to abundance pattern in combining reading and writing. Therefore, in order to make the education of inquiry-based reading more effective and to implement the spirit of new standard of education, it is imperative to develop the research on education of inquiry reading. A lot of research work about efficient implementation of reading for composition teaching has been carried out in recent years. But, I insist that we should make good use of our educational materials. As we all know, material gathering is hard for junior middle school students who always have a large amount of homework under current education system to reach. Lacking material seriously and expressing without any new Views are their common weaknesses in writing. The Chinese educational material not only focuses on the discussion of the improvement of reading, writing, speaking abilities, but also through an analysis on the characteristics of students. With combining models and material from the texts, students can be enlightened and write compositions with innovation and inspiration. So integration of educational materials reading with composition teaching is an important key to inspire their creativity. |
