Secondary vocational school students are indispensable talent for the construction of both urban and rural areas of our country. Their good interpersonal communication ability is significant for their psychology and future job development. From the social prospect, harmonious interpersonal relationship in secondary vocational school students also contribute to the stability of society. However interpersonal communication education in secondary vocational school is still a blind spot, neither is it valued in the academic research. So the study of secondary vocational school students’ interpersonal communication has its realistic and theoretical significance.With the survey of three secondary vocational schools in the city of W, based on the questionnaire analysis, this essay finds out that Secondary vocational school students’ interpersonal communication ability is overall good, but it is not optimistic. We still have some problems, namely the parent-child communication barriers, the distrust of teacher-student intercourse, peer interaction deviation, and immoderation of internet communication. With these problems, The writer analyses the main reasons are as following:biased value orientation, lack of interpersonal communication skills and confidence, lack of practice and proper communication education. This essay also covers the countermeasure of improving secondary vocational students’interpersonal ability. Schools should establish a correct ideological understanding and provide students with multiple communication practice. Teachers should play the leading role in the communication education. Students should be guided to learn self-education. Family and society education should be integrated forming communication education resultant force.The purpose of this study is to provide a guidance for the secondary vocational school students’ interpersonal practice, a beneficial help for the school interpersonal communication education, and some enlightenment for the students’ideological and moral education and psychological health education. At the same time, it enriches the academic research of secondary vocational school students’ interpersonal communication.
