Since2001,inquiry ability has been formally incorporated into 《the nine-yearcompulsory education full-time primary school mathematics syllabus (revision)》,inquiryability to gradually aroused widespread attention, in the educational requirements ofcomprehensive development, This capability is an integral part of the national quality. One ofthe goals of mathematics education is to develop logical thinking person, inquiry thecapability is one of capacity, inquiry into mathematics teaching is necessary. Ability and habitfrom childhood, elementary school mathematics to introduce the teaching of inquiry teachingcan help students to establish a sense of exploration﹑sense of cooperation, better promotethe overall development of students. Therefore, primary mathematics inquiry teaching tobecome the subject of this article.This article is divided into four parts, the first part is the background and problems ofthe class the subject of a series of reforms, Objective analysis of the significance of theresearch theme, made it clear that research methods, Prepare for the follow-up study. Thesecond part of the inquiry teaching the concepts, types, characteristics described, proposedinquiry the advantages of teaching the more traditional teaching and Combine thecharacteristics of mathematical inquiry teaching to be elaborated, to lay the theoreticalfoundation for the study. The third part of the selected teaching materials design more in linewith the pupils thinking of Beijing Normal University Primary Mathematics1-12volumes,depending on the mode of the inquiry teaching,each unit of each book learning, teachingobjectives to analyze and then classified and the separation of the four different types ofinquiry teaching mode, in tabular form showing.
