| Inquiry-based teaching has been applied to a certain extent in primary school mathematics classroom.Under the "double reduction" policy,inquiry-based teaching has important value and significance to improve the comprehensive effect of teaching, enhance teaching experience, enhance learning participation and reduce the workload. This paper uses case study method, interview method, questionnaire method and comparative research method to analyze the implementation status of inquiry-based teaching method in primary school mathematics classroom teaching under the double-reduction policy, and through specific teaching examples to compare and analyze the effect of inquiry-based teaching before and after optimization, and then puts forward the improvement strategy of inquiry-based teaching method.Among the findings:(1)Implementation status of inquiry-based teaching method.Under the background of double reduction, the frequency of primary school mathematics teachers’ use of inquiry-based teaching method is gradually increasing. The teaching design of inquiry teaching method pays more attention to problem creation, problem guidance and problem inquiry.Inquisitive teaching method can make students more active.Teachers are in the position of guidance, coordination, induction and assistance, and students have higher participation in the course. In terms of learning effect, students are more inclined to think actively, analyze actively and explore actively.Students’ mathematics scores improved greatly, and their interest in mathematics learning methods also increased. The inquiry-based teaching method reduces the math workload.(2)The application of inquiry teaching method still has the following problems:teaching objectives need to be adjusted, teaching content needs to be enriched, teaching implementation needs to be optimized, and teaching effect evaluation method needs to be changed. The case study shows that the application of inquiry-based teaching in primary school mathematics classroom teaching should pay more attention to problem situation creation, problem clue design, problem guidance and problem exploration.Inquiring teaching time needs to be extended, materials need to highlight characteristics, teaching process needs to improve organizational efficiency, teaching evaluation subject needs to be more diversified, homework should focus on stimulating the desire to explore again and expanding the scope of knowledge.(3)The results of the teaching satisfaction survey show that the satisfaction of teaching design, student participation, inquiry experience, learning effect and course load reaches about 60%,indicating that the implementation effect of inquiry-based teaching method is relatively satisfied. The results of the teaching effect survey show that before and after the implementation of the double-reduction policy, the average math scores of students increased by 2.47 points, the average after-school homework time was shortened by 30 minutes per day,and the proportion of teachers using inquiry-based teaching increased by 22.12% on average, indicating that inquiry-based teaching has achieved remarkable results. |
