But from1987ofthe sixth winter Olympics began in the overall level of speed skating began to fall, manyexperts and scholars research shows that the reason of landslide with local government valuedegree, popularity, money problems, sites implementation perfect degree, coaches their ownquality, backup power factor and team management has a direct relationship between thefactors. In jilin province and the present situation of the movement speed skating and relatedfactors analysis, to clarify the competitive speed skating movement of jilin province, theexisting problems of the jilin province level to improve speed skating, with strong practicalsignificance.According to this situation through questionnaire survey, literature data, expertinterviews and other methods to Jilin speed skating development present situation carries onthe thorough investigation, the speed skating coaches, athletes and leaders were investigated,found to speed skating in the development process of the existing problems and put forwardthe feasible countermeasure. Through the investigation of the main draw a conclusion:(1) speed skating training base in Jilin province is not uniformly distributed, mainly in7areasof the city, which in Changchun City, Jilin City training base to give priority to.(2) the Jilin province speed skating talents quantity in2007-2010presents growth trend, butathletes lower scores, and athletes, male female ratio imbalance.(3) the Jilin province speed skating athlete selection more scientific, rely mainly on players ofthe instrument to a reasonable assessment of athletes.(4) the Jilin province speed skating coach education for undergraduate course, intermediatetitles mainly to coaches. Most of these coaches from Jilin province colleges and universitiesof physical education undergraduate, no coaches certificate. (5) the Jilin province speed skating athletes’ achievement, coaching ability, managementsystem and investment has seriously hindered the development of speed skating of Jilinprovince.According to the development of a number of shortcomings recommends the following:(1) the Jilin province speed skating training base distribution should be relatively dispersive,conducive to mutual exchange, learning.(2) Jilin increase of speed skating athletes to participate in international competition ratio,help the athletes experience.(3) strengthen the Jilin coaches training, increase the percentage of highly educated.(4) increase in Jilin province speed skating training fund, improve the training condition,reward coaches, athletes, to encourage athletes in national and international competition to getgood rankings.
