Comparative study for mathematics education in China and the United States in recentyears more and more, more and more researchers, especially the emergence of―the newcurriculum reform‖, this is because of the new curriculum background and the originalAmerican Curriculum Reformis quite similar. The mathematics curriculum standards are thecore of the mathematics curriculum, the mathematics curriculum between the two countriescharacterized by a comparative study, we must first study the mathematics curriculumstandards. This paper is the study of American high school mathematics curriculum standards,the selected object is the―American Mathematics Curriculum Standards2000‖high schoolsection, as well as its comparison with the high school math curriculum standards, theselected object is the Chinese―high school mathematics curriculum standards‖.
