College students work plays a vital role in the university. College students work is the central nervous system, coordinate system and control system of the entire college students’ ideological and political education and daily behavior management. Performance management are gradually being introduced in the college performance evaluation system as an advanced assessment tools. College students work performance levels not only relates to self-image of college students work and overall service capabilities of the university, however, it relates to the vital interest and comprehensive quality of the teachers and students. It not only reflects the ability and level of student work cadres, but also reflects their competitiveness and level of the organization. At present, the attention and the extent of performance management vary between colleges and universities and the implementation standard is also irregular, so the level of performance management needs to be improved. However, along with the performance management theory to be matured and improved gradually, it has become an important means of performance management in the major, medium and small enterprises, government and institutions. It also has become an important way to improve the enthusiasm of organizations and individuals and promote organizational and personal development. Only making an effective performance management system scientifically and rationally that can we optimize the efficiency of the college students work in order to improve the education level of our country strongly.This paper focuses on particularity of the student work in colleges and universities, uses the related theories and methods of performance management and combined with the experience of student cadres, make an empirical analysis for the student work performance management in Inner Mongolia Agricultural University in order to identify the problems of college students work performance management at this stage. There are ways of the combination of results and process, the combination of quantitative and qualitative, the combination of organizations and individuals in the optimized student work performance management system. It uses research methods including literature research method and questionnaire methods, qualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis, performance management theory, Delpin, method, analytic hierarchy process,360-degree assessment method, followed by scientific, rational, controllable and operational principle, writes a book named’Inner Mongolia Agricultural University students job description for student cadres’, formulates the assessment index system of organizations and individuals in Inner Mongolia Agricultural University and consummate the performance management cycle.
