Curriculum standard is the starting point and core of curriculum reform. High quality curriculum standard has very important theoretical significance and practical effect on writing curriculum establishment, implementation, and evaluation and so on. Compare the similarities and differences of the writing part of primary school curriculum standard of mother tongue in China and America, which can provide reference for theoretical discussion, standard revision, curriculum implementation and evaluation for the writing part of our primary Chinese curriculum.The paper has four chapters, whose framework and thinking is whole comparison, case comparison, quality analysis, to make this research further and further.The first chapter has made a whole comparison in content standard, manifestation and study opportunity standard between the Compulsory School Chinese Curriculum Standard (2011) of our country and the National English Language Arts Standard of America.The second chapter has made a case comparison between the Compulsory School Chinese Curriculum Standard (2011) of our country and the National English Language Arts Standard of America and California English Curriculum Standard.The third chapter has established a writing quality comparison frame of curriculum standard, whose contents should be scientific, definite, operable, measurable and universal. This chapter also compares the quality of writing part of primary school curriculum standard of mother tongue between China and America concretely in the frame.The last chapter, we get some enlightenment by the comparison in the front matter. We should put in time and energy at inheriting and carrying forward the historical tradition, summarizing and using the contemporary innovation achievements, digesting and absorbing the subject results, strengthening lateral ties of subjects, using the foreign essence for reference and internalizing to be owned value. All the aspects mentioned above need integrate and innovate to realize organic integration and intergrowth with enough wisdom and courage. This chapter also analyzes the reason of differences of the writing part of primary school curriculum standard of mother tongue between China and America briefly from four aspects namely culture tradition, education system, writing science and educational research.
