High Vocational education plays very important role in the national education. As a bed to bring up advanced skill-applied people, its standard directly decides skill-applied people’s ability. At the same time, High Vocational education has huge influence on nation’s future and fortune. Teacher stays at the critical position in the vocational education. Performance assessment to teacher is main measure to judge teacher’s work and improve educational quality. At present, vocational college put teacher’s performance assessment into a important place, but there are some abuses during the assessment account to lacking reasonable way and perfect system. It is an urgent project of human resource management in college to search a set of effective performance assessment system for teacher in vocational college.Literatures are used in this thesis. I get information from CNKI and CDDBFT then study the relative reference which provides reference for project research. Cases are applied. I take Hunan mechanical and electrical polytechnic’s performance assessment as an example and learning this vocational college’s present situation to provide practical reference for project study. The research shows in the process of Hunan mechanical and electrical polytechnic’s performance assessment, there are many practical problems such as cognitional deviation, unscientific indicators for performance assessment, unfair operation for performance assessment, and the not smooth connection of performance assessment, the inadequate encouragement of assessment results. The key factors which lead to the problems are administration tendency of performance assessment and utilitarian thoughts and performance assessment regime. Therefore, we have to use Omnibearing way to assess and goal management assessment in order to improve its efficiency. We also must make clear of performance assessment principle for teachers from vocational college and perfect management assessment system and so on to provide reference about performance assessment for teacher from the same kind of vocational college.
